What if I don't want a serving option, but I want the tablescape and food?

We have you covered! The safety of our customers is our first priority. In precaution to Covid-19, we are now offering “No-Contact” service options, while still making your dinner/picnic/brunch special!

Are the packages for only two hours of serving?

The packages are for one hour of decorating, two hours of serving, and one hour of cleaning and takedown, but you can purchase extra hours of service for an extra charge.

When is the latest I can cancel?

Two weeks prior to your event you can cancel. Canceling an event less than two weeks prior you will be refunded fifty percent back of your total event price.

Can I choose more than two entrees?

You may choose a maximum of two entrees per event. You purchase more than two entrees, for an extra $15.00 an hour.

Are Pinch of Joy services only in New Haven, CT?

No, Pinch of Joy travels all over Connecticut. Travel Charges are included within New Haven County. For events outside of a 20-mile radius, there is an extra mileage charge of $0.58 per mile.

Does Pinch of Joy take care of the space for the event?

Pinch of Joy takes care of everything from grocery shopping, food prepping, decorating a tablescape, cooking, serving, and cleaning, but not the space for your event.

Where do picnics take place?

Picnics take place where you choose. Whether a park, a beach, or your home, you choose where you would like your picnic.

Does a tablescape come with the picnic package?

Yes! The picnic package includes a tablescape with pillows and the food of your choosing.
